This collection consists of four volumes. The first, inscribed on the front cover "Family Record", contains genealogical information (e.g., births, marriages, and deaths) of several branches of the Wyman family, dating from 25 September 1748 to 7 June 1840. The second volume, inscribed on the front cover "Recipts [sic] Book", contains receipts, for the period 1827 to 1844, made out to Nathan Wyman for various goods and services. The third volume contains Wyman's receipts for state, county, and town taxes, 1829 to 1822, and county and town taxes, 1834 to 1843, as well as Nathan and Herbert Wyman's receipts for county and town taxes, 1840 to 1841, and a receipt from the M.M. F. Insurance Company, 1844. The volume also contains a receipt for Nathan H. Wyman for "assessment on prem. note." The fourth volume, inscribed on the front cover "Book of Receipts", contains entries dated March 1833 to May 1838. These pertain to income from various sources (e.g., interest, on account, payment for work). This volume was also used as a penmanship book.
